Our academy has been providing professional induction training for newly recruited State Forest Service Officers and Range Forest Officers for the past 47 years. As the Principal of the oldest Training Academy for the State Forest Service in the Country, it is my great privilege and honour to write this message.

Our Academy is located in the North-Eastern region of the country and caters to the needs of not only the North East states but also other states. We offer a wide range of training programs, including induction training as well as in-service refresher courses for our esteemed State Forest Service and Range Forest Officers. We also provide short-term courses for other stakeholders.

Our focus is not only on delivering training as per the curriculum but also on providing our officers with the skills and knowledge required to tackle contemporary issues and challenges they may encounter in the field.
