Content Contribution, Moderation and Approval (CMAP) policy

The Directorate of Forest Education follows a structured Content Contribution, Moderation and Approval (CMAP) framework to ensure that all information published on the website is accurate, reliable, free from offensive/discriminatory language and compliant with Government of India guidelines. Content for the website may be contributed by authorized officers, departmental units, or subject matter experts associated with the Directorate. Contributors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is factual, complete, and relevant to the activities, training programmes, policies, and functions of the Directorate of Forest Education. All submissions must adhere to the prescribed formats, documentation standards, and accessibility requirements applicable to government websites.

Once content is submitted, it undergoes a systematic moderation and verification process carried out by designated Content Managers or Nodal Officers of the Directorate of Forest Education. This review includes checking for accuracy, clarity, policy alignment, and compliance with security and quality standards. After the moderation stage, the content is forwarded to the designated Content Approving Authority for final authorization. Only after approval is the content published on the official website. This multi-level validation process ensures that the Directorate of Forest Education provides the public with trustworthy, updated, and high-quality information.
