Library

The Library has a fairly good collection of books, journals & magazines on forestry and related subject areas. The entire library collection has been computerized and the Digital Library services are available for online reference.

A high-speed Internet facility is available on Local Area Network (LAN) for browsing and downloading articles for the training curriculum needs.

GIS/Computer Lab

The GIS/Computer lab is equipped with 60 nos. of latest models of new AIO PCs & upgraded desktop computers installed with Imagine ArcGIS & ERDAS software.

The lab has internet connectivity to impart training programs on Application of Modern Tools & Techniques in Forestry.

Conference Halls

There are two air-conditioned conference halls namely “Corbett Hall” and “Champion Hall” which are fully furnished and equipped with high definition displays, conferencing systems, and computers for conducting workshops, conferences, convocation and other events.

Sports

The training here aims at overall personality development, with emphasis on field training in addition to the theoretical aspects. Physical training and sports constitute an important part of the curriculum and are compulsory. The academy has sprawling grounds for outdoor sports & games, with facilities for tennis, basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, and hockey & athletics. Indoor facilities include a modern gymnasium, table tennis, snooker, badminton & board games.

Hostel

The training is fully residential. Residential accommodation on single occupancy basis is available to all the trainees in the Chandan hostel of the academy. The hostel has a capacity of 108 non-attached single occupancy rooms and 5 double occupancy rooms with attached washrooms. The hostel has common room facilities with TV, newspapers & telephone connection. There is a small lounge hall for recreation purposes. A new Executive Hostel consists of 8 (eight) suite rooms, 2 (two) VIP Suite rooms in the ground floor and 16 (sixteen) suite rooms in the first floor.
