Over the years, the profession of forestry in India has turned scientific, and the quality of forestry education and professional training has grown steadily. As legacy of the same, Central Academy for State Forest Service Coimbatore has a splendid tradition and rich history of Forestry Training. The Officer Trainees acquire sound knowledge in theory of forestry, and constantly traverse with the forests floral and faunal biodiversity through field tours, field exercises and special modules conducted. Every moment of their stay in the Academy must have been enlivened by its glorious history. The Officer Trainees trained out from this Academy would perform their duties with the same zeal and enthusiasm that has characterized during their training period and form an important and integral part of forestry administration in our country. They will serve as a dedicated Forest officer to prove advantageous to the department as well the communities.
