Medical Facilities
There is a sub-divisional hospital for outdoor and indoor cases at Kurseong city. While at headquarters, the OTs receive medical attention and treatment at Kurseong Sub-Divisonal Hospital nearby 3 kms from Academy or may be referred to one of the government hospitals at North Bengal Medical College, Siliguri nearby 30 kms from Kurseong.
Officer Trainees are advised not to make any private arrangements for medical attention and treatment. During tours and field exercises, common medicines for casual illness are supplied to the OTs from the camp medicine chest carried by the Duty Officer. The faculty-in-charge also makes every possible arrangement for regular medical attention in case of need.
