Library

The Academy library boasts as one of the oldest forest libraries in the country. Its collections include rich and very old books, periodicals and reports of pre-independence era. Besides, this library has vast contemporary resource material on various fields of forestry, allied subjects and also non-forestry disciplines. These include books, bound volumes, journals, maps, reports, slides, audio-video CDs, state wise materials, compendiums, encyclopaedia, etc.

The library subscribes to the journals like Indian Forester, 14 magazines, 3 newsletters and 6 daily newspapers. Needless to mention, regular purchase of latest books on varied subjects from forestry sector as well as on other allied subjects is a continuous phenomenon.
