Physical Training & Sports
The Academy has a picturesque playground and a very well-equipped gymnasium. The infrastructural facilities for sports include football field, volley ball ground, , basketball court, , lawn tennis court, one badminton courts, table tennis. The Academy has a modem gymnasium with equipment for weight training and many other exercises.
The indoor facilities in the Academy include table tennis, carom, chess. Early morning PT and evening outdoor games are compulsory for all Officer Trainees during weekdays while at headquarters. During the compulsory games period in the afternoon, the OTs play football, hockey, volleyball & badminton depending on the schedule. Besides the compulsory games period, the Academy also offers other games such as chess, carrom etc.
