Library

The library of the college has a fairly good collection of books, journals and magazines in the field of forestry and allied subjects.

Computer Laboratory

The Computer Labobratory presently equip with very week infrastructure. There is a proposal to improve the computers facilities by developing the computer laboratory with required furniture’s and other necessary components.

Films and presentations are screened in this laboratory for small groups, as there is LCD projector as well as Dolby surround system. Trainees also use this facility to prepare their projects, assignment etc.

Extra Curricular Activities

Trainees have their own club run by elected representatives under the overall guidance of a faculty member. All trainees are members of the club. The club organizes the following activities:

• Indoor and outdoor games
• Sports and Outdoor activities
• Film shows
• Cultural and other entertainment programmes
• Publication of house journals and magazines
• Nature treks

Accommodation

There is one hostel comprising of two blocks. It has 60 rooms with attached bathrooms which provide a comfortable niche for the trainees. It is equipped with lounge, TV table tennis, gyms and other indoor games. There are SBI, UBI and PNB branches at Burnihat while there is another SBIbranch at Jorabat (4 Km from College).

Officer's Mess

The Officer’s mess is run by the trainees and is situated in the hostel premises. The committee is elected and it functions under the overall supervision of a faculty member. Every trainee is a regular member of the mess. The Officers observe proper norms of dress and conduct in the mess. The mess is the place for interactions, formal and informal dinners and get-togethers.

There is convocation cum assembly hall with a capacity to seat 550 persons, which serve as a center or cultural, academic and social activity for the trainees
