This Academy is headed by the Principal, of the rank of Conservator of Forests. This post as well as the posts of Five Lecturers in the rank of Deputy Conservator of Forests are filled up through deputation of willing and eligible officers from various states of India. In addition to the above faculty, the training curriculum is efficiently implemented through the permanent faculty for Engineering and Surveying and a Sports Officer. Besides, the college musters Superior knowledge from various fields by roping in eminent Scientists/personalities from all over India, as guest faculty.

The faculty members are kept abreast of the latest development in the field of forestry and management by deputing them for various trainings/workshops/courses etc., both in India and abroad.
